Law firm J&S Legal Counsels and Trustees was founded in 2012. It performs successful and effective defense of its clients in all legal matters both in Russia and abroad, restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings, transaction management, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, criminal law, real estate and construction, taxation, family and labor law.

Together with our foreign partners, we have been representing our clients both in Russia and abroad for many years. We have created the institutional framework for international activities at a whole new level, with the involvement of J&S Counsels’ specialists working abroad.

The experience suggests that only using the entire arsenal of legal tools available in various countries may ensure the most effective client defense. Effective conduct of specific proceedings, dealing with the transaction type or a specific source of income requires application to the jurisdictions that will be the most harmless and advantageous for these types and incomes.

From 2005 to 2011: Partner of Barshchevsky and Partners Moscow Bar Association. Since 2012, a partner of J&S Legal Counsels and Trustees. Areas of expertise: - criminal cases, conduct of jury trials, family disputes, incl. - complicated divorce proceedings, property disputes between former spouses, and protection of parental rights.

Has published a number of legal articles in Russian periodicals, the author of the book The Special Procedure for the Judicial Proceedings in the Russian Federation and the Problems Thereof (M., 2004).
